What form(s) of birth control do you use?

After having 3 cesarean sections a friend of my mine is worrying a lot to conceive again. She has been using pills for 3 years, but she has noticed that they are affecting her health.

Ladies, what form(s) of birth control do you use? Any reliable ones?

You have put this in the wrong place(unless there is something special about tower hamlets contraception), report yourself, ask for it to be moved, and you should get a lot of useful replies, or just repost in chat, or contraception.

good luck.

coil? seems to work for most.

Thanks moortosea for your suggestion.

We just wanted to learn the experience of our local mums. Tower Hamlets is one of the most multicultural boroughs in London and women from other countries might have had different experience than we do have here/or what worked for them best.
Midwifes are giving very similar suggestions (mainly hormonal contraceptions) and last time my friend conceived with a coil.
Her husband is refusing to use condoms too :(

tell him to get the snip,

my son lived in bethnal green and worked in tower hamlets, so I do realise about the cultural mix.

sounds like the men need educating.

no contraception is a 100%, use lots is the best bet.

I would put your question on the board massive mix on MN.
