Moving to Bexley

Hello to all Belly Mums
I am hoping you will be able to give me some information and advice about living in Bexley or the local area.
I am a Mum to a 9 month old little boy and my parttner is now working in central London.
From what I have read about Bexley it seems to be quite a green area, which I like the sound of but is it also a bit too quiet.
I am looking for some different choices of activities with my son, plus what shopping choices are there?
What are the different areas of Bexley like and what do you like/dislike about them?
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
:o)

Do you mean Bexley as a borough or Bexley village?

Bexley Village is the nicer end of the borough, serviced by good schools, transport links and so forth. Nuxley Village remains reasonably nice.

None of Bexley has any decent shopping, Bexleyheath included, the Mall is dreadful. You would have to go to Bluewater.

As with any Greater London Borough, the closer to London you are the less salubrious the area, parts of Bexley Borough are very 'inner city' and quite rough.

Avoid Thamesmead, Erith, Crayford and Welling like the plague.
