First aid courses

Hi
Id like to complete a first aid course locally. St Johns Ambulance do them but there is a bit of a wait and a fee. Does anyone know if there are any cheaper / free ones in Manchester. Or, a friend has suggested that some companies offer courses at home where you can also get a few friends round and share the cost.

Anyone heard of this??

Thanks

Hi I'm sure I've seen spaces on first aid courses offered by NCT groups in the past in fact just looked for the link www.nct.org.uk/branches/manchester-trafford/baby-first-aid-courses
it is after summer break though.

Have you heard of Millie's Trust? Thy run first I'd courses and it was set up by Millies parents only last year following her death from choking at nursery. There is a charge but money goes towards the good cause of educating others. It's local too! Take a look here....

Have seen something in the family magazine I'm getting, let me see if it's on the i-net.

Found, it's different place, no prices but there are contacts: www.mums-dads.co.uk/expert-advice/choking-do-you-know-what-to-do/

PS: How often local board doesn't work for posting? tried several times with first message.
