Open Morning at Cambridge school

Anyone have a view on Sancton Wood School? Noticed they are advertising a 'stay and play' session with their Open Day this week, so it looks like ds can play while I can look around - freedom!

My dcs don't go there but this is what I know:

I think there are some historic posts you might want to look at, if memory serves, asking why they continue holding open days when there aren't spaces.

They are advertising for a new head.

Everyone I know with children there is very happy. One moved her dc to the Perse because dc needed to be stretched but dc v v bright.

I have a friend who has kids there. They are very happy.

I saw an ad on their site for a new Head of Juniors but not a new Head, so phoned to ask them about it. In fact, ended up speaking to the Head himself! He assured me that he had no plans to leave. A bit embarrassing but he was lovely about it.
