Basildon Hospital

I'm pregnant with my first baby and due in August. I live in Basildon and had been planning to have my baby at Basildon hospital but recent press is making me worried. Has anyone had a baby there in the last 6 months? Would be grateful for feedback!

I had my last baby there and if I do not get my HB I will be back there for this one.

I went to the Willow Ward which is for low risk mothers. It was the best birth ever and I couldn't stop raving about it after.

The MW care I received was close to excellent.

I had both boys there. One was 9 months ago, but no complaints at all. I have friends going back there too.
