Meet ups in bayswater

Hi all.

I am a first time mother to a 3 month old girl. Now that she and I have grown up a little we would love to meet other mums in the area for coffee or walks in the park. It's been desperately lonely these last few months.

Hi Noetherian, I'm sorry to hear you've been having a hard time - those first few months adjusting to motherhood can be tough - I know from experience. I'm afraid I don't live in Bayswater, otherwise would meet up, but you could private message (click on 'message poster') fancab who lives in Bayswater, and who posted on 3 March. Will let you know if I come across any more Bayswater mums. This site is getting busier by the day, so hopefully more Mumsnetters will pop up in your neighbourhood soon. all the best. x

Hi Noetherian. I live in Bayswater and am mum to a very cheeky 11 month old daughter. We're always up for walks in the park, however, have you been over to the Children's Centre at St Mary of the Angels yet? They have drop ins through the week that are great - and free - and very friendly. There's a baby group at St Matthew's Church on Monday mornings that we haven't been to yet - clashes with nap time - but we hope to soon. Don't be lonely. xx

Jumpinfish-thanks a bunch. Will message fancab. Couldn't find her post, but I find the mumsnet site a little tricky to navigate on my phone.

Alihaji- I have been to the SMotA children's centre once. Will go back again soon. Will pm you for a meet up in the park. I take my dd for walks while she snoozes away in the sling and I ask myself profound questions on existence.

Hi mbcoelho, the Marylebone meet-up group is active, so do look it up. We generally meet either on/around Marylebone High Street or more often on Baker Street where there are some nice big cafes with space for prams. If those are convenient for you, do join us. I will also pm you with some more info.
