we live near Southampton and DS (2.5) is currently obsessed with the idea of going to the seaside. we've got holidays planned for later in the year but I'd like to take him on a day trip (probably mid week) some time soon.
we have pebbly beaches down the road from us but I'd like to take him to a proper sandy beach where he can do some digging and paddling. I'm not from the area so not sure where's best to head. Ideally easy to park near with a car and with decent toilet facilities (am pregnant!) and maybe play area or other stuff to do. open to suggestions, think I might be tempted to try few different ones over the summer!
