My daughter's brand new, one day old, pale blue ISLA BIKE was stolen today (Saturday 27 April) from outside West Bridgford library at around 5pm. It is an Isla BEINN bike and has a luggage rack for paniers on the back and mudguards.
We are all absolutley gutted at this. Can't believe it has happened.
Anyway, my call is to any Nottingham mums, to PLEASE let me know if you happen to see it for sale in local ads, car boots, be offered it for sale, see anyone riding it.
It is quite distinctive in that I have seen quite a few red and darker blue bikes around but not many pale blue. It is the BEINN small with 26 inch wheels.
I suspect it was not in West Bridgford for long and is now in an area close-by - the Meadows? Somewhere easy to ride to, basically.
The thief left behind another bike (white mountain bike) he had stolen earlier in the day, so it seems this is someone with few morals, I'm guessing?!??!!?
