I am a Counselling Psychologist in training (University of East London) and for my thesis I am researching women's difficult breastfeeding experiences. I am interested in how difficult experiences impact on mothers identity, their relationship with their child and the external factors which may have been involved in their experience. I hope to learn this through interviewing women about their experience.
This research aims to enable women to share their experience, improve understanding of these experiences and enhance Psychological practice in this area.
If you are aged between 25 and 35, stopped breastfeeding your first child in the last year, had a difficult experience and would like to take part in this research I would be pleased to hear from you.
