Recommendation for energy supplier

We are having gas central heating installed and need to pick an energy company. Are they much of a muchness or can you recommend any particular supplier?

We are with British Gas, the only supplier cheaper was e-on and I wanted to avoid them as have heard awful things about the customer service. Have you got a tradesman for the installation, can recommend the guy that did ours!
