childminders in Altrincham

I'm moving to Altrincham soon and will need childcare. For various reasons I'm considering a childminder this time instead of a nursery. However, I've no idea how to find a good childminder or how much they cost. Does anyone have any recommendations or advice

HI, the childminders on our/this website all come from www.childcare.co.uk which seems a very popular website. from personal experience I found my childminder from going to a few of the local playgroups near the primary school my older children were at and asking the workers there, who passed on the ones they knew were good. This often works well as the childminders will be at the eldest's nursery school if you need school runs doing as well. If you go the toddler local.mumsnet.com/manchester-trafford/baby-toddler-groups you will also see playgroups listed here to contact and ask.
