Moving to Lewes

Hi, I'm moving to Lewes this summer with my 10 month old daughter. Hoping to find some new friends with babies - is anyone out there?

No children here, and won't be around over summer, but bumping for you - Lewes is lovely!

No kids either, but I nanny there three days a week, I finish with my 2yo in September but give me a shout if you fancy meeting in a park with a toddler or something through summer :)

There's a good toddler group on a Wednesday morning at a community centre just down the road from the library during term time too, and a music class there just before the toddler group which is lovely and is filling up with under-1's at the moment.

Hello Cloudmummy, I just wanted to find out how your move went. We will be moving next month and I would love to hear how you are getting on!
We are looking to move into the Houndean area - we are moving with a 2 and 4 year old child - do you have any experience in how child friendly this area is?! i.e. distance to Lewes town, other families, playgrounds?

I would really appreciate your advise - it is all quite stressful ;-)

We've just moved to Lewes. I have a 16month son and desperately seeking new friends for us both.

My partner has just gone back to work overseas for 3 months so I need some adult conversation and some shared cake eating!

Are they any active meet ups here in Lewes? I must admit to finding locals a little unwelcoming of us DFLs.

So sorry to miss some of these messages. Hope your moves went well and you're settling nicely. I have really enjoyed my summer in Lewes and have got to know a nice group of people and classes and groups to go to.

If anyone still wants to meet up let me know. I'm about to have my second baby (any day now) but come February I'll be wanting to get out more again I'm sure.
