Makaton

Do any of you know of any informal (or formal) Makaton groups in Glasgow? Ideally Southside but would travel.

My 2yo DD has significant hearing loss and subsequently is really behind with speech.

Any help appreciated!

I tried to find some kind of group for my daughter at about that age and didn't find anything. Her SALT got a S&L worker to come out to the house and do signing sessions with us. My DD2 is now 3.5 and she still can't speak because of her condition but knows hundreds of signs. I would have loved to find a group like that! Hope you find something x

Deaf Connections runs a baby & toddler group that meets every Thursday morning at their building on Norfolk Street. So I'm going to try that out tomorrow :-)
