Calling all Parents, Carers and interested parties! Burghley Road under 5's community centre is at an impasse and in real danger of closing it's doors for the last time.
After running for 21 years with volunteers we are heading into tricky times. We are without a Trustee and our numbers of vol's is dropping too. The present committee has secured funding till 2015 for our rent but we need more funding to cover our additional costs.
If you are interested in being on the new committee please come to the centre. If you wish to see BR stay open please come along and use the facilities. We are open Tue - Fri 10.30 - 2.30 pm. We serve lunch at 12.15 and run regular events. A new gardening club is starting on Wednesdays and plans for a craft club coming soon.
The venue is also available to hire for parties. We are looking to advertise the centre to other groups for using long term. Please come along or contact me on 07535 223 994, a warm welcome awaits all.
