Looking for friends

Hey there, I'm looking to meet other mums and hopefully make some new friends, I've got a son who is 6 months old, my other half works away a month at a time so as I don't know many people in Bristol I get a bit bored when he isn't here... there's only so many mum and baby groups I can go to.

My son is 7 months pld and despite being in Bristol for a year I haven't been too lucky at making friends either. Again, I'm hoping this isn't because I'm some kind of nut but just because it seems ridiculously difficult to find other mums in a similar position.
I work from home so my schedule is pretty flexible, I also drive so am happy to travel to Emersons. I'm in Brislington so not too far around the ring road!

Hello ladies. I have been in Bristol for two months now and I'm pleased to say that I have made one friend. However, I am keen to meet more people. I live in Kingswood but can easily get to Emersons Green. I have been to Wacky Warehouse and I know there is a nice park there for when the weather gets better.

My children are aged 5 and 4. My 4 year old son goes to pre-school in the mornings so we are free afternoons. I know he is older than your children, but he gets on with everyone and he is happy to go off and play whilst I have a chat.

It would be lovely to hear from you if you have planned any meet-ups and wouldn't mind us joining you. It will not be this week though, as my son has got chicken pox and so we are housebound. Hopefully we will be back to normal next week.

I haven't heard back from the other 2 ladies yet, but I'm happy to meet up as a group or just with the kids :)

Thanks jaysmum2012. I have got your number now. Hopefully we can arrange a meet up next week. I'll have to see how we get on with the chicken pox. The spots are mostly scabbed over now so hopefully we won't be housebound for too much longer!

Hi ladies I have a little girl who's 9 months and seem to have lost my friends since having her as none of them have kids, I could drive to emersons to meet if you are meeting up and wouldn't mind me tagging along :-)

Yes in the Fayre and Square pub. There is a car park at the back but it is quite small. If you can't get a space there you can park in Sainsburys car park.
