Shiny new MEET UP thread

Hi everyone,

As I volunteered to be the local Meet up coordinator, I feel as though I really should make some effort. As lots of people have expressed an interest on the other meet up thread in having another meet up, can I suggest the following?

Anyone who fancies coming a long to a Mn meet up, join the official Meet up group - which I think you can do here.

Then, if you also post in this thread with any ideas/preferences you have we can take it from there. If you could specify whether you'd prefer weekday, weekend or evening (or all three if you're super keen to be social!) that would be helpful, as would any venue suggestions.

I will start - I could do any time or day (more or less, I do work but PT), and I liked the suggestion I saw on the other thread for Boston Tea Party (yummy cakes :) )

Please someone reply soon so I don't look too lonely!

I think I just joined the meet up group - no promises about making it, since I do work FT, but can be reasonably flexible when working @ home - so peversely, daytimes and weekdays are easier, since evenings and weekends are manic with family stuff.

Ah Droitwich you poor thing, we had a small but perfectly formed meet up, but there was cake in abundance :) I'm going to schedule a week day meet up next for weekday people then another Saturday one. I think that's probably the fairest way of doing it.
