Any St Michael's, St Albans parents? Advice please ...

Hi.
It's the usual story ... moved from London and now searching for primary school places for my DC.
Seen many schools, like many schools, but none of the schools I really like can take both children (Yr5 and Yr2). I'm considering placing them in separate schools that are close to one another.
One option is St Michael's C of E. Does anyone have any experience with school or give pros and cons?

Hi my kids not there but have heard lovely things about the school. It's on two sites and i think combine years so ask about that. Entry criteria is usually quite firm - Christian.

Thanks newgirl. From the school visits i've been on, Bernards Heath was my fav, just on the wrong side of St A for us really (don't fancy the car journey through city centre in morning!).

Yes driving through town is a real pain but only really yuk at 830 - home pick up won't be as bad
