We are moving to St Albans and I want to get my 5 year old into some ballet and swimming classes. Ballet is for fun, so somewhere with a good atmos and possibly other theatre /tap or activities ( she loves ballet, but bless her, she is no Darcy B in the making!) Swimming - I am not familiar with the area or the pools and teachers, so any advice much appreciated! Also, any input on kids activities for a curious 5 year old new to the area ? Thanks a million Grin

I am really happy with the swimming lessons at Westminster lodge for my 2 boys - we go after school on a Thursday

Hi - after trying a few swimming and ballet classes for our two daughters, we found these the best:

www.dolphinswimschool.co.uk
www.ledgerdance.co.uk

You can even get swimming and ballet both done on a Saturday morning if you go with the Age Concern Centre class for ballet and time it right - it's just around the corner from the pool at SAHS, then a few minutes walk into town for lunch :-).
