I live in London but I'm organising a 70th birthday party for my mum and she would like it to be in the Cotswolds because it's a central point for our scattered family ? it means no-one will have to travel too far. So I'm looking for a venue that's in nice surroundings (preferably with lovely gardens we can walk around and a playground for the many grandchildren) that has a room we could hire. There are 35 of us and we'd like to be able to bring our own food but eat it at table. It'll be a summer party, so the other alternative is a lovely park with the facility to get undercover if it rains, but I'd prefer a hired room really for certainty's sake! Any thoughts?
