Visiting Blackpool, where's best with young children?

Hello, we're spending a week in Blackpool next month with friends who don't have children. Where can we go? We have a baby and a toddler. All suggestions welcome!

There is lots to do but it can get expensive, as well as all the major attractions (Blackpool Zoo, Play Barn, the tower) there is Stanley park which has a great free children's area and boats and mini golf and trampolines at a low cost.

If its cold and wet then there is lots to do in town with big attractions.
