I am urgently seeking a whippet cross puppy, and was wondering whether any of you York MNers know of anyone who is expecting a litter? I'd ideally like a puppy to be ready in May/June or thereabouts - but could take one now if there were one in need of a home.
I grew up with whippets but given where we will be exercising a dog (namely the Knavesmire), I think we are better off with a cross in the hope of reducing the 'selective deafness' gene (I have enough of that with the children).
If anyone knows of any, please do let me know.
