I'm quite new to the area, and now the weather is warming - Where are the best parks?
where do all you mums hangout?
I have a toddler that needs a good run-about, playground and a cafe for me would be a bonus.
All thoughts greatly appreciated, as I think I will scream if I have to make another duplo rocket!

Highbury Fields has a lovely playground with large sandpit and water, securely gated. Then of course there are the fields for running around in.
Thornhill Square very popular, and also Barnard Park which has the benefit of toilets and water fountains.

I agree with all of the above suggestions. Finsbury Park too has a good playground and cafe, although it is a little further afield.

If you're the highbury end clissold park in stoke newington is big with a few animals to look at, ponds and good tea and cake in the renovated house.
