going rate for babysitters and house cleaners?

Hello, we are moving to Oxford from overseas and are starting to plan on expenses. Does anyone know what's the going rate for babysitters (for the occasional date night) and for a weekly cleaning lady?

I notice cleaners are charging between £6.50 and £10. Maybe worth contacting some. It would be more expensive going via an agency.

I'm not sure about babysitters but I'd guess about £8 per hour - perhaps a bit less.
