The milk bank at St George's is very low on donated breastmilk at the moment and desperately needs some more donors.
The milk is used for the babies on the neo natal unit as sadly, some mothers are unwell or unable to produce enough breastmilk for their sick or premature baby and by giving these babies donated breastmilk, it greatly increases their chances of survival and reduces complications which may be life altering to them.
