Hi! I'm up for a meet-up. We had one back in September but not seen anyone since!

September was ages away. It's time for another one.

Were there many at the last meet up? The derby board seems a little bit slow at the minute.

Yup.

There was just 5 of us met up in Darley Park in September. Kids had a play at the little playground, we had a chat and then relocated to the cafe for drinks and food.

Darley seemed quite a good location. Someone mentioned Alvaston park on another thread, great cafe there, lovely cakes!

An evening meet might be quite nice also? ?

Hi CapLady. We'll see what we can do. I think the majority rules in cases of a meet up, may be wise to wait for the weather to sort itself out if you'd all like to go to a park though.

Weather around here hasn't sorted itself out in years!

It's because mother nature doesn't have enough gin!

Ok, I signed up. I've got a 3 yr old and a 10 month old. A trip to a park sounds good. Bad weather won't put me off.

The lovely people on the Derbyshire local want to know if we'd like to meet up in Chucklebutties in Belper? I think it's a fantastic idea because it's warm!

Don't worry, we'll have to organise lots of meet ups. There's a lovely little cafe on Sadlergate, we could invade the place!

I'm sure that I can get us a free coffee or tea. The Derbyshire meet up is in Belper, which can be a bit of a trek if you don't have a car and a lot of little ones. There's also a bit of an age restriction because they are holding a toddler group so it may not be the best place for a meet up. Those who want to go can, I'll meet up anyway. We can arrange something else for us.

Having seen the extremely busy thread in chat telling us all to visit our local pages I had thought we might get some more people around here.
