Playgroups in Chester

Hi, I'm looking for a playgroup to take my 2 year old to. He is a sweet, quiet contemplative little boy and those Funky Town, soft play places scare the bejesus out of him.

Does anyone know of a smallish playgroup in Chester that perhaps also follows a more spiritual or attachment parenting philosophy?

Chester's not really big on spiritual or attached ;) Rhyme time at the library is nice (but not really a playgroup) and the play area in the methodist church is also nice and quiet, usually. Whereabouts do you live as there ae lots of local groups?

Thanks Charlie, I'm looking into the library thing. Sounds good. Heard Northgate church on the fountains roundabout do a playgroup I'm going to check out.

There's a creche at the Wesley Methodist Church in the centre of town, which several of my friends have used - not sure what the minimum age is.

Found this document on the net which might help?
