Day Nurseries in Barnes

My family are moving to Barnes in the near future and are looking for a day nursery for our 6 month old son. My husband and I both work full time so it will have to be a full day nursery that takes young children. All I can find so far are nurseries for older children that only run part of the day.

Can anyone recommend any good nurseries that would suit us?

Hi there....we moved to mortlake 18 months ago so happy to give my views on local nurseries. There arent really full time ones in Barnes, our son is at active learning just across chiswick bridge. Feel free to private message me if you like, ive looked at some others near by

A couple of my friends use Working Mums Day care in Mortlake & recommend it.

I have the same issue - don't think there is anything in Barnes, I think I will end up takimg my 19mths old girl to Notting Hill with me :(

Hi, our son went to the leapfrog nursery in Bute Gardens, which is now known Busy Bees. We were pretty happy with it. It is just across the river from Barnes and very conveniently based near hammersmith tube st and on my way to/from work

MY husband and I are expecting our first child this September :) we're really excited about it all but I know that I will have to go back to work after 9 months - 1 year of maternity. We recently moved to Barnes and I was wondering if you could share your tips on nurseries and also tell me a little about how much it might cost and also if you have to put their names down early like a waiting list? I am at a total loss as to where to even begin!!?

HI, I have found a nursery in Barnes which is actually opened full time :) happy happy! it is called Barnes Nature Kindergarden - located next to Holy Trinity Church on Castelnau. They don't have best facilities I've seen, but ladies seems to be lovely and children happy so here it is :) my girl is joining them next month - 2 mornings a week for a starter :)
