I am going back to work after ML in April and I am looking to place my son with a childminder for 3 days a week (probably Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 8.30 to 5pm). He will be 11 months old then. I am going to ask around at my DD's school but I thought I would give MN a shot too! I don't know too much about childminders as DD was looked after by my retired MIL when I went back to work. Unfortunately (or fortunately from her POV!) she has now started a business so understandably won't have the spare time to help out much. Can anyone recommend a CM that they have been happy with? Or can anyone suggest some not-so-obvious-but-important questions I should ask when speaking to prospective CMs?
