I fancy trying some recipes for Chinese food but can't find some of the ingredients in the supermarket - are there any Chinese supermarkets nearer to here than London?! TIA.

Not sure whereabouts you are, there's an Oriental supermarket (its word not mine) near Hockerill Lights in Bishops Stortford.

Thanks Olivia. Bishop's Stortford is a bit far but I think I've located one in Hatfield on Google :).

There is also Central Oriental Supermarket in Luton, it's very good.

There're actually two in Hatfield (thanks to the Chinese student population in nearby uni) and both are decent. My personal favourite is Welcome supermarket.
