Birthing options Salisbury

Hello there, my DH and I are moving to Salisbury and trying to look up birthing options. I will be 20 weeks and going to mention to my midwife that we are moving out of London and in need of a new plan for childbirth. We will be right down the road from Salisbury District Hospital. So far I could not find much about hospital water births or birthing centres. Could anyone help to explain the options.

Hi, there are no local birthing centres, but the hospital has a number of rooms with pools. They run tours of the unit, phone and book on one. There are also great community teams for homebirths in this area (I was at the hospital for dd1 and home for dd2 - both were very positive experiences). Salisbury is great for bringing up kids. There's loads to do and it's very friendly.
