Moving. New job in Oakham. Where to live?

Hiya. I'm making enquiries about where on earth to live in and around the Oakham area. I'm looking for 4 beds and a good sized garden. Not got a clue where to start!! Also need to consider schools for a 6year old and nursery for a 3yr old. Can anyone get me started? Please. Pretty please? Also posting in perterborough.....

hi, there is nowhere bad really to live in oakham - depends where you want to be - in the town or out in a village. all of the schools in oakham are good schools. catmose college is getting quite oversubscribed now so if you want that as a secondary school would think about living close to there. lots of nurseries here and again they are all good. its a great place to bring up kids - you have rutland water on your doorstep, we have hardly any crime at all and its a very safe place to live.
