Eating out in town

Just wondered if anyone could recommend somewhere nice to eat lunch. It's my birthday and my mum and I are looking for somewhere different from our usual places. I have an appointment in Broughton Street so would like somewhere there if possible.

We had our works Christmas lunch at SmokeStack on Broughton Street last year, it was very nice, though I haven't eaten there from their normal menu.

Asti is really good!
