Does anyone have kids at this school? Can you tell me what it's like?

I think it is tricky to get into unless you are in catchment. Do you know if you are in the catchment area? Seems to have a good reputation. Sorry, I can't help more than that (although I did go there myself but that was a very long time ago)!

My son is in year 8. Unfortunately he is a miserable grumpy little sod at the moment, who professes to 'hate' school but I know he's doing well! It's perfectly fine as a school. What would you like to specifically know??

i'd be moving up from London so would choose the right catchment (somehow or other!). Reputation seems great - just trying to get a sense of it's strengths and weaknesses from parent's POV. My son's very into music and so i'm trying to find somewhere with a good music department...
