Helloooo.. anyone in South ayrshire?!

Hello! Pretty much as title says.. any MNers in South Ayrshire? I moved here quite recently, havent really found the time to meet anyone yet and feeling a bit lonely!

Hello All! Nice to see a few people here! Sorry Ive not been back sooner, I checked this thread religiously for about 5-6 weeks then gave up thinking no-one would ever find me!
waves to everyone Im in Troon, have 2 DDs, eldest is 7 and youngest almost 3.
So, what are your favourite things to do in South Ayrshire?
We recently went to Heads of Ayr and the kids loved it but we definitely wanted to stay there the whole day to make it worthwhile, we found the tickets a bit pricey.

Hi, im in ayr i have 2 kids dd age 7, ds age 2 looking to make some new mummy friends:)

we have also been to heads of ayr its a fab day out !

Hi krnmitch, I have a 2.5 year old boy who could do with some buddies...he gets landed with his 5 yr old sister's pals all the time! We are in Prestwick, if you come back to this thread let me know if you fancy a play at the park!

There are very few of us still I see. I have a 6 year old son and also own the Creation Station here in South Ayrshire.

It would be good to build a wee community here - does Mumsnet have a FB group for South Ayrshire?

We are definitely one of the slow boards and it seems people find us and then forget to come back! :)
If we could get it sorted perhaps we could try and do a South Ayrshire meet, maybe somewhere in Ayr? I'm guessing that's probably easiest for most people?
Hello cabernet, where does your DS go to school? Perhaps we are walking past each other in the playground every day!

If you think this is slow try the East Ayrshire board lol!

I'm in Galston with a 1 year old son, grew up in Drongan so know Ayr and most of South Ayrshire.

It might be nice to have a FB group as I am particularly bad at remembering this local part is here....what do you think?
