Hello.
I'm in Torbay.
Where does everybody live?
Maybe we could arrange a meet up somewhere central.

Hello Ms Egg
I, too, am in Torbay. Are you OK? I have a small group of local chums but am always up for meeting more!
Charlotte x

EggFlipped · 29/11/2012 19:41

Hi Charlotte!
We moved here in the spring. I'm from Devon originally, but we've been moving around a lot, leaving all our friends behind. I haven't met many people here yet. Sad
I'd love to meet up. Where in Torbay are you? I'm between Torquay & Newton Abbot.

Ah you are not far at all - it must be fate! I am in Brixham so I regularly get stuck on the road from Torquay to Newton Abbot! I've got one dd aged 3... would like more but don't think it is going to happen and am getting a bit long in the tooth, and thick round the waist, for that matter! Are your child/ren similar ages? Doesn't matter if not! Yes to a meet up - when do you get freetime (ha ha ha). I work four days a week in Plymouth. Am off next week though xx

Hi folks - I'm not far from you... shall we see about setting a date once Christmas is out of the way for a New Year meet?

EggFlipped · 23/12/2012 18:30

A New Year meet sounds great. There have been a few Devon people kicking around on the lonely threads lately, so maybe we can get everyone to make a resolution to be less lonely!

Sounds good. How about a meet-up for coffee somewhere on Paignton sea-front? Then we can all hit the swings, weather permitting...

dohurryuplottie · 08/01/2013 12:36

Kickstarting this thread again...! Paignton seafront sounds good - let me know when everyone else is free. I can do Wednesdays and weekends
Happy New Year Devonites!

CiderPunk · 08/01/2013 20:26

How about late morning, Saturday 19th Jan? Spin on the swings and then a coffee in the cafe nearby?

dohurryuplottie · 09/01/2013 10:54

Great! This feels a bit like an espionage film - Spy(Kids) maybe?

CiderPunk · 09/01/2013 23:49

Hooray that's 2 of us! Smile

dohurryuplottie · 13/01/2013 15:31

Hello hello happy Devonites. DD has had a (very late) party invite for next saturday... I can do the weekend after... and I was thinking, shall we do the PlayCafe in Torquay, does that suit? It's so ruddy cold today I am coordinating everything to be as indoorsy as possible
Sorry about the 19th - 26th then?? x

CiderPunk · 15/01/2013 16:57

Yep Saturday after suits me fine :)

EggFlipped · 19/01/2013 07:20

Hello again! Just remembered this thread. 26th suits me too!

OP posts:
dohurryuplottie · 22/01/2013 15:41

x

EggFlipped · 22/01/2013 16:14

Sounds good. I almost forgot about this thread (again!) I'm honestly not normally this forgetful. I have a 2 year old daughter. We'll see you there. I'll put a reminder in my phone so I remember to turn up I'll PM you my number too.

CiderPunk · 22/01/2013 20:24

Look we're all official... Anyone like to have a go at adding themselves to the meet-up?

EggFlipped · 25/01/2013 14:30

OP posts:
CiderPunk · 25/01/2013 21:19

CiderPunk · 26/01/2013 17:57

Well that was jolly nice :)

EggFlipped · 26/01/2013 19:27

Great to meet everyone. Sorry we had to leave early.

OP posts:
LoobyLooGB · 29/01/2013 15:58

Hello everyone, have just added myself to the group. Looks as though I have just missed a meet up - although wouldn't have been able to make it as DD (nearly 3) came down with chicken pox last Friday!!

CiderPunk · 29/01/2013 20:46

No problem Looby! It was very nice so I think we'll be doing it again... In fact I might set it up now...

Iwasherefirst · 10/02/2013 10:09

Hi! I'm a Torbay mum, I have two boys- 6 and 1, I don't get out much now and this year I am determined to socialist more. Smile

Iwasherefirst · 10/02/2013 10:10

Socialise more, not socialist! Grin
