Meet ups with other MumsNetters during school hours?

Hi,

At the moment the Friendship bench does not seem to be working, so I am impatiently posting here!

Anyone else interested in meeting other mumsnetters who live locally? Just chat in coffee shops, or if we get really motivated other crazy possibilites could be, say, a book club, walks in Bushy Park etc.

Also I am researching starting a new part-time business. If anyone is interested and has any expereince in Marketing, Sales, small businesses, pre-school classes, or education then let me know.

Hi there. I work part time but might be up for coffee or lunch or something on a Monday or Friday sometimes. I'm in Richmond. A book club sounds fun.

Hi - friendship bench is new so not surprising that it isn;t well populated yet. I didn't even realise it existed!

If it helps I made MN friends online first by chatting then arranged to meet the people I got on with online.

People also tend to be attracted to coffee etc with someone in a similar position eg childrens age (babies, pre-school, primary,secondary etc) so you might get on better if you made that clear. I know it shouldn't make a difference but somehow it does!

I have not been online that much (have three DC) but now they are all at full time school I've got time to socialise with other local Mums during the week.

My brain is buzzing with 'Small Business' type things at the moment so would be great to chat about that.
