What are your favourite things to do locally now the weather's colder? What were your best Christmas trips or visits in Cheshire last year?

woohoo like that we get a new talk name so we don't out ourselves!!

For Christmas, I recommend straying over to Staffordshire for the Santa Train on the steam railway Santa and Steam It's not the cheapest day out but really good value and they are really friendly. We did it last year and it was brilliant.

We are going to try the Lantern parade at the zoo this year, after their grotto was so disappointing last year (after being brilliant for ages). My DD just had her birthday so I am allowed to start planning Christmas now :)
