how many guests and what type of party?

A birthday party! About 15 guests (I think)

I assumed birthday ; by what type I meant activity based ? Soft play? crafts?

I loathe soft play but wee kids love it

Any of those might work. I am leaning towards craft/activity based, but not sure what to do.

If you want to go ut to East Kilbride, there's Cafe Ceramico who do children's painting parties.

Sporty Kids soft play do craft parties.
Craft daft on a Raft do ceramic painting stuff, don't know how set up for parties they are though there is a V jice pub/restaurant next door.

Creation Station also do birthday parties I think.

Rainforest adventure in East Kilbride, great for kids parties, especially at that age.
