New to Stonehaven

Hi we moved to Stonehaven about a month ago. I have 2 children son 4 and daughter 2. The only thing we are missing is some new friends, would love to meet up with mums and children similar ages or same area.

We go to a few local classes but enjoy the parks, library and some play dates would be nice!!

Can I recommend a local group for you?

St James' church hall (just over the iron bridge over the Carron) off the main square, on a Thursday from 10 until 11.30am. It's a free drop in group costing £1 and we get a cuppa while the kids play - they get juice and toast.

I may be there on Thursday...

Moving into Stonehaven very soon!

Have a decision to make about schooling for my 2 children age 9 and 7. Dunnottar or Mill O Forrest?

Also where is best for swimming lessons, gymnastics and any other clubs for girls?

To be honest I'm looking for any information to help settle the children into Stonehaven, and some friends for me would be nice too!!
