QMC or City???

Can anyone tell me which is the best hospital 7yrs ago when I had my eldest it was city and it is the easiest to get to for me but ive heard QMC is now better. Can anyone help?

I don't think there's much in it tbh. QMC was fine for me, but I know others who went to City and had good experiences too.

Maybe it depends on how fast you can get to either one - for me, the prospect of sitting in a car in traffic in the ring road in labour didn't appeal.

Turns out that was a sensible pov as DC arrived less than 5 hours after first comtraction

I always thought I'd prefer a teaching hospital like the QMC because my 3 were high risk and there were more consultants there. Had an an excellent experience with all of them and I am nearer the QMC too.

Id recommend city, had ds there 6 months ago and they were fantastic
