piano teacher for beginners?

Can anyone recommend a piano teacher for 8 year old beginner? Redland area.

As i don't play myself, I'm not really sure what to look for in a teacher? Any tips?

It is really important that you use a recognised and properly qualified teacher, for the piano. I would suggest using an Incorporated Society of Musicians registered teacher, which ensures they have appropriate qualifications (a music degree or teaching / performance diploma), are peer recommended and CRB checked.
