Double glazing company you would recommend

Just bought a house and want to change downstairs windows and patio door and considered ringing the big national ones but after reading some horror stories about bad experiences eg pushy salesmen, over inflated quotes etc i am thinking of using a local one now. Anyone have good/ok experiences with a local company they can recommend? Please? Barnet/ Hertfordshire area. Thank you

We have used Oakwood Windows in Southgate a number of times over two properties. Can highly recommend them.

We used a company called safechoice for a new patio door, I think they're a national manufacturer but use local installers? - not 100% sure though? We were pleased and they were no where near as expensive as Everest who quoted us almost double the price!

I have used academywindows.co.uk and have found them to very good they have been in business over 30 years and have their own installers.
