Home birth - water birth options

I am planning on having a home birth for my dc2 due middle October! And am only just getting organised! Eeek.

Was considering using a pool, but thought the midwife on her assessment would have a bit more info than 'We leave it up to you'. Is it worth having one? Is it beat to buy or hire one?

Are you aware of the issue of the weight of the pool? The only room I could use one in was our conservatory which has a concrete floor but is overlooked on two sides!
