Last year a friend gifted me some sloes she had picked whilst on holiday... the resulting sloe gin was delicious 
and I would love to repeat the process this year to help me get through Christmas give thoughtful home-made Christmas gifts. However, I've no idea where to look for sloes in the Glasgow/Dunbartonshire area. I've tried sloe-biz (dedicated sloes forum?!), so it's over to Mumsnet, which is where I find all the other essential life information after all. Can anyone help, as I believe this is the right time of year to be picking.
