Think there will be around 20 of us. Going to a 730pm show at the Playhouse? Where would you suggest nearby for dinner?

TIA

I would suggest Vittoria's on Leith walk. They are well known to cater for large parties.

Around a 10 min walk from the Playhouse. HTH :)

Just had a look - it seems quite expensive - cheapest set menu is £17 and that's just for two courses....

I thought their food was fairly priced, about average for a sit down meal in the area. We went on a Sat night several months ago now. Ah well, there are loads of others up and down Leith Walk.

Just next door to the Playhouse there's the cinema complex and a whole variety of restaurants in there which you may find slightly cheaper, but not by much. Have a good time wherever you go! :)

Thank you lovechoc - really appreciate your advice / local knowledge. May still go for Vittoria's...i think a set menu is so much easier when eating out with a group of our size.. x

We've often done Vittoria's. I think it's pretty reasonable pricewise round that way. Otherwise the Omni centre has pizza hut, frankie and benny's which can be cheaper but not as nice.

Agree with you Groovee
