Roffey area of Horsham

Hoping to get some local knowledge of Roffey, I am looking at a property on Innes Road which I believe is in Roffey. Having had a bit of a look online many people say Roffey is 'rough'.

What I'd like to know is just how rough is Roffey, I realise that a lot of the perception of an area is relative, coming from South London I have an idea of what I would consider rough but this might be somewhat different to another area.

Will I need to fit extra security to the house or not venture out at night for fear of violence.

Any information would be hugely appreciated.

I think you're right, it's all relative. Roffey is the 'roughest' area in a very nice, low crime, affluent town. There's a bit of social housing in Roffey, a parade of shops with an occasionally rough pub. I would happily walk around there by myself late at night. But I don't know Innes Road specifically....
