Hi Kelly
It's a bit quiet in here (having said that you'll probably get loads of replies now).
I'm not too sure about what's good hot a 7 year old (DD is 19 months), but Paignton zoo is great & Decoy Park in Newton Abbot is well worth a visit.

Thank you will try Decoy park. We been to the zoo as fab. Just have to make some friends now lol

The park gets very busy when the sun's out & lots of fun. Take swimmers and a towel for your DS to play in the sprinklers.

There's a play cafe in Torquay and bear feet in Newton Abbot.

Pennywell farm is nice too if he likes animals.

Hi Kelly, Im new to Torquay so don't have any friends here either «over-enthusiastic wave».

I have found Kents cavern to be good for an afternoon out if your son doesn't scare too easily. There are some nice national trust places to wander around too.

Hi! I'm a Paignton mum to two boys age 6 and 9 months, I've found Occombe Farm a great place to go and have a stomp and the Geopark is amazing on a dry day :)

Hi folks, I look after the Exeter local site so thought I'd wander across to see what's happening elsewhere in Devon! We seem to have quite a cluster of Torbay/Teignbridge MNers... I wonder whether a meet-up is a good idea?

CiderPunk · 25/02/2013 10:47

Hello everyone on this thread! In case you've not seen, we now have a meet-up running in Torbay - details here:
