My 8-yr old DD has had glue ear for several years and is becoming increasingly embarassed about her condition (see my thread on it in the health section: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/childrens_health/a1556686-dealing-with-childs-embarassment-about-a-health-issue#33950626)
I was wondering if it would help if she could meet someone else of a roughly similar age who has the same or similar problem. I thought it might make her feel like she's not the only one who's constantly dealing with hearing tests. If you have a DC with a similar problem and would be interested in setting up a playdate, let me know!
