Hi, I live in England at the moment but am looking to relocate back to Scotland. We are looking to move to the Bridge of Allan area and I was wondering if anyone could recommend Bridge of Allan Primary school? A number of people I have asked have all said Newton Primary in Dunblane is excellent but so far I haven't found anyone with children at Bridge of Allan Primary School or any knowledge of the school so any advice would be very much appreciated. I have 3 children, Primary 3, Primary 1 and Nursery ages. Thank you.

I'm afraid I have no experience of BoA primary but I can support the view that Newton Primary is good and of course if you choose Dunblane over Bridge of Allan to live in then you'll be in catchment for Dunblane High School which does particularly well (and I'd advise picking the secondary school in priority over primary).

But of course Bridge of Allan is a beautiful town....

Good luck with your move.

Dunblane primary is great too. I agree tho re high school. It seems a million miles away but it'll be here before you know it. Dunblane High is excellent and Wallace, B of A catchment school, has very mixed reviews. Good luck with your move.
