Hello all, I am a mother of a 20 month old girl currently living with my husband in Fulham. We are considering a move to Kingswood Surrey and would love to hear from anyone who knows anything about the area. What is the commute really like (my husband commutes to Canary Wharf and I to the west end). Whats it like the love there? Local schools etc.

The area looks amazing and certainly there is more value for money than some other areas of Surrey.

Any advice anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If he is going to be taking slow train from Kingswood I hope he looked at the time table...

That's why some folks prefer Purley, Reigate or Redhill for their fast trains.

Yes, lots of people from there drive to work or park at Epsom etc and get the train in.

Kingswood is very posh; also some nice areas around. Lower Kingswood is a bit grotty, though.

The train line is pretty slow but does go into London Bridge, which is handy for City.

Schools in the area generally pretty good.
